One of the most confusing points for West Cairo buyers: is “October Gardens” (Hadayek October) a district inside 6th of October, or its own city? This guide clears it up — from Sakan Group for Real Estate Development, a developer that actually delivered units in both cities.
Where is October Gardens?
October Gardens is an administratively independent city located south-east of 6th of October City — a direct neighbour, but not one of its districts: it has its own city authority and planning. On the full area map you will find it outside October’s official boundary.
How does it differ from 6th of October?
| 6th of October City | October Gardens | |
|---|---|---|
| Administrative status | An established first-generation city | A newer independent city to its south-east |
| Urban character | Complete districts + a villa back (Green October) | Social and middle-income housing and large apartment extensions |
| Price level | Higher — especially the villa territories | Lower — the entry point for smaller budgets |
| Best for | Villa compound seekers or mature-city services | Apartment buyers on tighter budgets |
Our delivered units in October Gardens

Before specialising in villa compounds, October Gardens was one of the stops in our delivered track record — residential buildings handed to their owners. Real photos, not renders.
Note: October Gardens is not Pyramids Gardens
The two names get mixed constantly: Pyramids Gardens (Hadayek El Ahram) is a completely different area on the eastern edge towards the Pyramids, while October Gardens sits south-east of October city. Make sure which one you mean before comparing.
And if your budget outgrows an apartment?
If you have reached villa or townhouse territory, October’s southern back — Green October (the Green Belt) — is the most active villa district now, home to our six projects including delivered ones you can visit.
